Touched by His Power is a book for those who are still searching and also for those who know the Lord. It is Joan’s prayer that all will be encouraged and challenged to believe God and see what He can—and will do. Joan Shankland is an active member of Pathway Christian Fellowship located in Shorewood, IL. She and her husband, Financial Consultant Tom Shankland, home educated their five children.

Since coming to know the Lord, Joan’s main goal has been to share Christ wherever the Lord gives her opportunities. This desire has been fulfilled all over the United States, Europe, Africa and Asia.
Four of these stories have been highlighted on TBN‘s (Trinity Broadcast Network)"Brighten Your Day", and CBN’s (Christian Broadcast Network) "The 700 Club", which airs on ABC Family. Joan has also spoken at numerous churches, retreats, schools, youth groups and Women’s Aglow, encouraging others to believe in God for their own miracles. As Joan grew in her walk with the Lord she learned what it is to be an overcomer through praise and worship and saw her own family experience many of God's exciting miracles.
